Chicken Yakhni Pulao😋🍲 step by step
- Take a deep pan and add chicken and water to it.
- Now add all yakhni ingredients in chicken and let it cook on a low flame for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Soak the rice for 1 hour.
- Now put of the flame and strain the stock with a strainer and keep aside the chicken pieces and black pepper corns and red chillies.
- In a blender jar add green chillies and yoghurt blend well and keep aside.
- I dont like ginger garlic paste so I crushed ginger garlic in mortar and pestle you can blend it.
- Now heat up a deep pan/wok and add oil onions cumin bay leaves and fry.
- Preserve some fried onions for later use.
- Now add crushed ginger garlic and fry for 2 minutes.
- Now add sliced tomatoes green chillies and yoghurt mixture and chicken and fry.
- Add salt and whole spice powder.
- As oil seperates add preapared chicken stock and whole green chillies and let it boil.
- Now add soaked rice give a stir and cover it to cook for 7-8 minutes.
- As the stock dries out add some fried onions and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- Dish it out and serve with your favourite raita..
