- Prepare 10-12 of big sized Mirchi.
- You need 1/2 cup of Besan/gram flour.
- You need 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.
- You need 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
- You need of to taste Salt.
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of ajwain/carom seeds.
- Prepare as needed of Oil for deep frying.
- You need of Stuffing.
- You need of to Salt.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of Amchur(dry mango) powder.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of Red chilli powder.
- It's 1 tsp of Coriander powder.
- You need 1 pinch of hing/asafoetida.
Mirchi Bhajiya step by step
- Take a bowl mix the ingredients of stuffing..
- Wash Mirchi. Make Lengthwise slits in all Mirchi. Remove the seeds. Fill stuffing in it..
- In a mixing bowl add besan, salt, turmeric, red chilli powder and ajwain. Mix it well. Add water and make batter. I don’t like thick layer of besan so I make little thin batter..
- Heat oil in a wok. Dip the Mirchi in besan batter..
- Carefully leave it in oil. Deep fry it on medium flame till it becomes crispy..
- Serve it with tomato chutney or any sauce..
