- It's 2 of Medium size onion.
- You need 1/2 cup of Besan (Gram Flour).
- It's as per taste of Salt.
- You need 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
- You need 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder.
- It's 1/2 tsp of coriander powder.
- It's 1/2 tsp of jeera (cumin seeds).
- You need 1/4 tsp of carom seeds (ajwain).
- You need 2-3 of green chillies.
- It's 1/2 tsp of Chaat masala.
- You need as needed of Oil for deep frying.
Kanda Bhajiya instructions
- Add chopped onion in a bowl.Add salt, mix well and set aside for 5-10 minutes..
- Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, carom seeds, jeera and mix well.Add Gram Flour and mix well..
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Drop small portion of the onion mixture in the hot oil and deep- fry golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper..
- Slit green chillies and deep fry in the same oil. Drain on the absorbent paper. Sprinkle Chaat masala on the bhajiyas. Sprinkle salt on fried chilles..
- Serve hot bhajiyas with fried chilles..
