- Then add finely grinded tomato purée in with 1-2 Teaspoon Salt in it so that they start releasing oil quickly..
- After 5-6 minutes, when they start releasing oil, add spices mix in it & roast them for 2-3 minutes..
- After 2-3 minutes, add soaked chole in it with 1.5 Cup Water & let them boil..
- Remember, the level of water should be just above Chana not below nor too high..
- On the other hand, take frying pan add 1 Cup water in it & let it boil..
- When it starts boiling, add 2 Teaspoon Tea Leaves/ Chai Patti in it & boil them for some time so that flavour gets settled in it..
- Then filter chai & pour it in the cooker with 1/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda & mix them properly..
- Reaction will start immediately..
- Now close the lid & give 6-8 whistles on medium flame..
- After 6-8 whistles, turn off the flame & let the pressure cooker depressurise naturally..
- Meanwhile take a tadka pan, add 1 Table Spoon Desi Ghee in it with 1 Pinch Hing, Slices Ginger & Green Chillies & mix them properly..
- After some time open the lid, pour tadka in it & mix them properly..
